March Assembly - Diversity
Our guest speaker, Mandisa Thomas, is the founder and president of Black Nonbelievers, Inc.
Mandisa will discuss women of color in the secular movement and the work they're doing, including Women of Color Beyond Belief 2022. She will also discuss ways to support this work, as well as how secular organizations can improve in their diversity efforts.
We'll be singing Happy by Pharrell Williams, What the World Needs Now by Jackie DeShannon, and I'm a Believer by Smash Mouth.
Steve Sergeant is hosting this hour long Assembly, and as usual, we’ll have a Creative Space, a Doing Your Best talk, Life Happens, a Moment of Reflection, and pre- and post-Assembly social chats. Please join us!
SASV is an inclusive secular community that considers respectful relationships more important than any specific stance on religion. Our membership includes atheists, agnostics, Humanists, and even some believers.
